Be More Than A Victim
People everywhere seem to love calling themselves a victim. Wherever they go, EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET THEM. The red lights are out to get them; the cashier is out to get them, the parking garage is out to get them (that bitch took MYYY SPOT).
They suffer from what I call a ‘victim narrative’. Their self-voice is always telling them that life is hard, difficult and unfair, and it is ALWAYS someone else’s fault. Whatever. Get over your bad self.
Everyone has a past, everyone has been hurt, but not everyone has decided to be a pain-in-the-arse, social-gathering-destroying victim about it.
Be more than a victim.
