The road to my own personal hell was not only paved with good intentions, I was carrying a backpack of guilt, pulling a cart of regret followed by a mule train of condemnation. My life was so cluttered with emotional, relational, financial crap I could have grown you one thousand acres of rose gardens (stupid song).
One day I thought, “bugger it.” I decided I didn’t want to be the ’S’ in K.I.S.S. anymore. I realized that when we live our lives in such a way and at such a pace that we constantly don’t have time for the simple and straightforward things, life can never improve, it will never change and we never move forward.
